WHY PARTICIPATE? For more than 80 years, Country Day has been a community that has educated and nurtured students and served as the launching pad for lifelong friendships, relationships, and professional networks. Gifts of all sizes have a positive impact on CCDS faculty and students creating an exceptional learning environment.
We are in the home stretch of our Bucs Together Days of Giving. The celebration energy couldn’t be higher, as so many teachers, coaches, and staff have been surprised with confetti cannons and alumni saying thank you!
But are you wondering how dollars raised during Bucs Together Days of Giving really impact our faculty, staff, and students?
Well, we are glad you asked!
- Dollars raised during Bucs Together Days of Giving go to the Country Day Fund
- The Country Day Fund is the school's number one fundraising priority and funds 5% of our operating budget.
- The Country Day Fund, along with tuition, pays for the necessary things that allow Country Day to be the academic institution we all know and love.
- It allows us to have strong financial aid to increase accessibility and an incredible amount of professional development opportunities to keep our teachers the best of the best.
- There is also the support of our innovative learning tools and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programming.
- Lastly, and maybe most importantly, participation matters.
